We\u2019ll continue to work closely with Ofgem, industry, and consumer organisations to refine its design and governance. We\u2019re planning targeted events \u2013 webinars and a dedicated engagement day \u2013 to support inclusivity and readiness across all market participants. And we encourage everyone to get involved. In the meantime, keep an eye on our consumer consent updates via the REC Portal&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/recportal.co.uk\/consumer-consent-hub\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Consumer Consent Hub<\/a>, and share your feedback with our Programme Team (<a href=\"mailto:consumerconsent@retailenergycode.co.uk\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">consumerconsent@retailenergycode.co.uk<\/a>). Your input is key to shaping the solution.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Drop-in surgeries<\/h2>\n<p>Afternoon drop-in surgeries on Energy Theft, Market-wide Half-Hourly Settlement, Consumer Consent, Tariff Interoperability, REC Change, and our Forward Work Plan for 2026-29 gave stakeholders the chance to put their questions directly to our experts. OAMs provided one-to-one advice and support throughout the day, helping stakeholders connect the topics to their own priorities.<\/p>\n<h2>What we heard<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>The REC community enjoyed coming together for meaningful conversations that will carry forward into future work<\/li>\n<li>Afternoon surgeries and one-to-one sessions with OAMs gave stakeholders a great opportunity to access expert insight<\/li>\n<li>Open, two-way conversations produced real-time feedback that will strengthen our services and relationships<\/li>\n<li>Stakeholders showed strong enthusiasm to engage with Code Reform &amp; Licence changes and help shape new ways of working together<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>What\u2019s next?<\/h2>\n<p>Thank you to everyone who joined and shared your perspective.
