Our first Roadshow in Manchester was a great success. It brought together a range of stakeholders to share invaluable insights into the future of REC Services. Thank you to all our participants for taking the time to meet with our team. The event, held in the heart of Manchester, used a \u201cYou Said, We Did\u201d format to highlight our ongoing commitment to addressing stakeholder feedback and ensuring that our REC Services meet their needs. We also discussed the medium-term operational programmes that stakeholders can expect over the coming years, particularly those arising from regulatory programmes such as Code Reform.<\/p>\n
The morning session focused on updating stakeholders on the progress made over the past year, specifically in response to their feedback. Our team presented a comprehensive review of the improvements across the REC Code Manager Service, Enquiry Services, Theft Services, and Metering. Attendees praised the transparency of the presentation and appreciated the opportunity to see how their input has influenced the REC Services.<\/p>\n
80% of attendees reported a noticeable enhancement in REC Services over the past year, and 85% confirmed that RECCo\u2019s future planned service improvements aligned with their expectations. The feedback from the morning session was overwhelmingly positive, with many recognising the strides RECCo has made in aligning with stakeholder priorities, as well as the positive culture and the \u201cexceptional\u201d team we have in place.<\/p>\n
We learned that our stakeholders value us categorising information and communications based on their different market roles. There was also a strong emphasis on developing a comprehensive onboarding process for new employees or those who are newer to their roles within the organisation. In collaboration with our service providers, we will explore ways to enhance the support we can offer in this area.<\/p>\n
The afternoon discussions focused on our medium-term operational programmes, including developments like Code Reform<\/strong>, the evolution of the Code Manager service,<\/strong> and the introduction of new digital services<\/strong>. A key discussion point was also the potential transfer of the delivery of the Central Registration Service<\/strong> (CRS) to RECCo, pending Ofgem\u2019s decision.<\/p>\n Engagement was high throughout the workshops, with lively discussions on how RECCo\u2019s operational programmes could help the industry adapt to evolving market challenges and deliver positive consumer outcomes.<\/p>\n Feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive, and we would like to thank everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to participate.<\/p>\nKey themes:<\/h3>\n
